FIssure Sealants

This is a procedure we offer all our young patients as soon as their first adult molar teeth come through. The tiny grooves on the back teeth, the fissures, are most susceptible to food particles becoming lodged, leading to decay without good oral hygiene. The sealant is applied in droplet form and hardened with a bright light, to protect against decay. Good oral hygiene is still essential to maintain healthy teeth.
